At PhysiAlign, we are trained to help you manage pain and improve physical function using evidence‑based, non‑pharmacological approaches. Your treatment plan may include a blend of manual therapy, targeted exercise, and personalized education, along with specialized techniques such as dry needling, Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and pain neuroscience education. We tailor these tools to your unique needs so you can move with confidence and return to the activities you love.
Our team of sports physical therapists work closely with athletes to help them recover from injuries, improve performance, and prevent future injuries. We are passionate about interscholastic and club sports, but we know that regular competition can sometimes overshadow sound training in foundational strength. We specialize in the middle and high school athlete as well as the adult athlete.
Our stability programs are customized to fit your unique needs and goals, with a focus on sustainable lifestyle changes and healthy habits that support your body and your desire to be comfortable in your body and in your environment.
Our interdisciplinary approach focuses on identifying the biomechanical, environmental and social factors that may be related to your symptoms and creating a personalized plan to address them. We do not believe that one size fits all, so your plan of care will likely reflect many different techniques based on your history, present needs, and future goals.
The Rigo Schroth-Based Method incorporates three-dimensional curve-specific physical therapy exercises based on the principles of Katharina Schroth, and developed further by Dr. Manuel Rigo, MD. Exercises are intended to help decrease the risk of curve progression, improve postural awareness, reduce pain, increase strength, and improve breathing and body mechanics. This exercise approach helps to educate and to motivate with an overall goal of improving the whole individual's quality of life.
We are trained through American Bone Health (now part of Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation) whose primary mission is to "teach people how to build and keep strong and healthy bones for life with practical and up-to-date information and resources to engage, educate and empower them to prevent bone loss, osteoporosis and fractures." We love bones and we want you to love yours too. We will work with you and your primary care practitioner to develop a unique bone health program.
Scoliosis specific physical therapy exercise is indicated for individuals who have juvenile, adolescent or adult idiopathic scoliosis, excessive curvature of the thoracic spine (kyphosis), and/or flatback. Schroth-based scoliosis specific exercises are used during brace weaning stages, pre- and post-surgically for all ages, for juvenile and congenital scoliosis, and for optimal curve management across the lifespan. Each case is unique, but this method is intended to be used as part of a team approach with your primary care practitioner, orthopedist, orthotist, and if applicable, mental health counselor.

In 2019, Lauren underwent emergent spinal surgery involving a decompression and fusion at L4–L5. The recovery was slow and challenging, but it became a defining experience—one that shaped her both personally and professionally. Moving through that healing process deepened her empathy, strengthened her resilience, and expanded her understanding of what patients truly need during recovery.
Seven years later, she faced a second spinal surgery, this time a decompression at L3–L4. As she works through her own rehabilitation, she is documenting each step of her journey back to full strength. Her goal is not only to restore her own function, but to use this experience to better guide others through theirs.
Lauren understands that every recovery is unique. What sets her apart is the rare combination of extensive clinical expertise in spine care and firsthand experience navigating the physical and emotional realities of spinal surgery. She brings that dual perspective to her practice—meeting you with compassion, clarity, and a deep commitment to helping you return to the strongest version of yourself.

In 2025, Julie sustained a scaphoid fracture in her left hand while competing in a field hockey tournament in California. The injury required surgery and a long, carefully managed recovery that stretched through the summer and early fall. With patience, determination, and a thoughtfully structured return‑to‑sport program, she made her way back to high school coaching and competition later that year.
Like her colleague Lauren, Julie experienced firsthand the physical and mental challenges that come with a successful rehabilitation journey. Navigating setbacks, rebuilding strength, and trusting the process gave her a deeper appreciation for what athletes and active individuals face when injury interrupts the activities they love.
